LANtaBus SNOW EMERGENCY ROUTE GUIDE

During major snowstorms, LANTA may announce via local media and this website that a “Snow Emergency” is in effect.  Routes will be altered as detailed below. At times only some routes may undergo detours depending on road conditions.

Allentown 1st Ward: No service on Gordon St, Allen St, or to Waterfront

  • Detour for Route 102 to Casino
    • Regular service to Hamilton St. & American Parkway, left on Riverside Dr., left on Front St., continue to regular route.
  • Detour for Route 102 to Cedar Crest Hospital
    • Regular service to Tilghman & Front, right on Front St., Left on American Parkway, right on Linden St., continue to regular route.
  • Detour for Route 210 to Whitehall Central
    • Regular service to Tilghman & Front, left on Front St., continue on Fullerton to regular route.
  • Detour for Route 210 South Mall
    • Regular service to Fullerton & Jordan, continue on Fullerton/Front St., right on Tilghman St., continue to regular route.

 

Allentown Route 209: No service on 4th, Liberty, 16th, or Allen St.

  • Detour for Route 209 to LCCC Schnecksville / Crest Plaza
    • From ATC Platform B., right on Church St., right on ATC Platform A., left on 6th St., left on Tilghman St., right on 19th St., continue to regular route.
  • Detour for Route 209 to Parkway Shopping Center
    • From 19th & Tilghman St., left on Tilghman St., right on 7th St., left on Turner St., right on Church St., continue to ATC Platform C., continue to regular route.

 

Allentown 22nd Street: No service on 22nd St.

  • Detour for Route 218 to ATC-Allentown
    • Regular service to Tilghman & 22nd St., right on 17th St., left on Turner St., continue to regular route.

    • Regular service to Chew & 17th., right on 17th St., left on Tilghman St., continue to regular route.

 

Fogelsville: No service to Nursery St. / Allentown Treatment Center.

  • Detour for Route 106 to Forks Plaza
    • Regular service to 18th & Butler, continue on 18th St., left on 13th St., right on Northampton St., right on 4th continue to regular route.
  • Detour for 220 Route to EITC-Easton
    • Regular service to 13th & Butler, left on 13th St., right on Northampton St., continue to regular route
  • Detour for 220 Route BTC-Bethlehem

Northampton Community College (NCC): No service on Farmersville, Green Pond, Penn Hall, and William Penn between Hecktown and Oakland

  • Detour for Route 220 to EITC-Easton
    • Regular service to William Penn & Hecktown Rd, left on Hecktown Rd, right on Oakland Rd (no service into campus), continue on Oakland to regular route.
  • Detour for Route 220 to BTC-Bethlehem
    • Regular service to Oakland Rd & NCC (no service into campus), continue on Oakland Rd., left on Hecktown Rd., right on William Penn Hwy. to regular route.
  • Detour for Route 312 to Bethlehem Square / NCC Penn Hall

Easton Slate Belt: No service to Roseto

No service on Routes 701, 102, 703, 751, 752, and 753.

CT Van (Paratransit):

No service on Carbon Transit CT Van.

500-level Routes:

No service on any 500-Level LANtaFlex trips. No new trips will be booked.
