Introducing Storytime
Bus.

LANTA is parking a bus for reading, singing — introducing the youngest riders to public transportation before they ever need a fare card.

How It Works

Show Up. Sit Down. Join In.

There’s nothing to prepare — just bring the kids.

1

Registration is required — pick a date and location below, then reserve your seats through our quick sign-up form. It’s free.

Why We’re Doing This

Community Engagement

Your Voice is LANTA’s two-way communication strategy — built on listening to riders and meeting communities where they already are. The Storytime Bus brings that spirit to our youngest future riders, turning a city bus into a place for stories long before it’s a place for commutes.

It’s a small, joyful way to make public transit feel familiar, friendly, and fun — for kids and the grown-ups raising the next generation of riders.

At Every Departure Location

  • Live storytime reading aboard the bus
  • Sing-alongs
  • 35 seats per session — registration required
  • Free and open to families with young children
